Programmed for Failure

In the first lesson we learned how our brains were programmed to bring about our present mentalities. In this lesson we will discuss how we are programmed for failure and what all that means. When I say we are programmed for failure I do not mean we do not ever succeed at anything. What I mean mostly is if that our system of thinking is a failed system. Our brains are conditioned in a way that our thinking leads us away from having true success and happiness.

One of the great reasons we are conditioned for failure is we never seem to discover what is the meaning of success. Success is the achievement of a desire or goal. The reason most do not experience real success is because they never develop real desires or real goals. Real desires and real goals take effort and intention. To achieve true success one has to be specific and clear about their desires and goals.

We are conditioned to have vague and general desires and goals. How would you answer the following questions? These are just a few questions but many more could be asked.

  • What is the desire for your relationships?
  • What are the goals for your job?
  • What are your personal financial goals?
  • How healthy do you want to be?
  • What are you goals for retirement?

For most people the answers to those simple questions are vague and general at best. Unfortunately we were not trained to have a clear and precise way of thinking about our lives. One of the goals of WMI is help individuals realize and become aware so that a new process of mental programming can occur. In the upcoming lessons we will discuss how the mind needs to be changed and show simple steps that can be taken to recondition the mind for success.
