One, they can come off due to statute of limitations, which ranges from 7 to 10 years. Two, which is the best way, they can be removed through a credit dispute process. Credit disputing is a simple process where you dispute any information on your credit report with either the credit bureau or the provider of the information. There are three ways to create credit disputes.

You can decide which one to to send to your credit disputes. Sometimes it will be best to dispute with the creditors and other times with the credit bureaus. The are six major reasons any item can be removed from your credit report.
